The new Digimon are Ryudamon (Rookie level); Ginryumon (Champion level); Hisyaryumon (Ultimate level); and Owryumon (Megal level). These Digimon are all part of the same digivolution line and  were previously only obtainable in the Digimon Battle and Digimon Masters MMORPGs.

What’s notable about the Mega-level Digimon Owryumon is that it can combine with fellow Mega-level Digimon Alphamon (pictured above) to become Alphamon Ouryuken. Although it has not yet been confirmed whether Alphamon will be obtainable, it was previously obtainable in the first Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth video game, and a fifth new Digimon has also been announced to be added through a free update (but it has not yet been revealed). Alphamon Ouryuken was also only previously obtainable in Digimon Masters.

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker’s Memory released in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on December 14, 2017, and will release in North America and Europe on January 19,2018. The PlayStation Vita version released in the West will be digital only. Those who pre-order either version of the game will receive exclusive Digimon and costumes.
