First and probably foremost is the popular strategy game, XCOM: Enemy Within. Enemy Within is the expanded version of XCOM: Enemy Unknown, which itself is one of June’s Xbox 360 Games with Gold offerings. With this week’s news that XCOM 2 will be coming to consoles in September, now seems like the perfect time for interested players to jump into the first game.
The other titles include Foul Play, a charming side-scrolling beat ’em up with a lot of character and personality, as well as Sega Bass Fishing, which may interest the sportsmen (and women) out there. Lastly, there’s Monopoly Plus, a digital version of the classic board game that’s a great fit for the entire family.
As the longest days of summer loom on the horizon, and E3 beckons next week, there’s a good chance that not very many games will be coming out for a while – making these newest additions to the Xbox One backwards compatible library a good opportunity to find some new, fun gaming experiences in the meantime.
